Based on a shoebox design, the Maruti Eeco is an eight-seater MPV that came as a successor of Versa. Available in petrol (1.2-litre, 1196cc) and CNG fuel engine options, the Eeco delivers a decent performance and fuel economy. This power-unit is coupled with a smooth-shifting five-speed manual transmission with DSA system.
Maruti Eeco is yet another mini-van from the leading auto maker that is available in five and seven seat variants with an optional air-conditioner offered on the five-seat trim. Compared to Omni, it has slightly improved exterior and interior styling. In terms of features, Eeco is better equipped than the mundane Omni and packs in secondary safety and comfort fitments.

One of the old models from Maruti Suzuki India that still sell in good numbers, Eeco is styled slightly better than its elder sibling, Omni. Primarily an improved version of defunct Versa model, Eeco is available with a choice of five and seven seat layout. Don't expect it to set any speed records, however it is a great people mover and is
finding a growing fan club with taxi operators.
